I'm back in civilisation now (aka Perth) after a fantastic trip up the west coast. Australia is bloody huge!! On the map it didn't look that far to Exmouth, but it was probably the length of the UK. As you may have noticed from the pictures, I've been to some amazing places and met some great people. Apologies for some of the photos being the wrong way round, I think I've worked out how to avoid it happening again, but I can't change the ones that are already there.
I'm in Perth for another day or so and I've been hanging out with people from the west coast trip, but there's only 3 of us left now (there were 18). There's been a slight problem with my trip to Alice Springs... it's been cancelled!! But the tour company have been great and I'm flying to Alice Springs tomorrow and then doing a 4 day trip to Uluru, Kings Canyon, etc. So it's all good!
I've got too many good memories to write them all here. But in summary, I've seen, eaten, fed and stroked kangaroos, swam with a manta ray, reef sharks, a turtle and a gazillion fish, been up close to dolphins, held several snakes, seen a red-back spider (very dangerous), taken hundreds of photos, laughed till I cried, seen some amazing scenery and made lots of new friends. And I've only been here two weeks!!
